but i thought i'd share- because i have been so affected by this sweet & heartbreaking story.
my friend camille shared her story about her cousin, jared, passing away six weeks ago. leaving behind his wife, their 18 month old little girl, and their un-born baby girl (to be born in six weeks.) i was so heartbroken reading camille's story- not even being able to comprehend the pain that this family must be feeling, especially since it was so sudden and the causes of his death were unknown. i couldn't help but put myself in that situation (why do i do that to myself?). it truly was so hard to read. you can read camille's story about the funeral HERE.
but like i said, the unborn baby girl was due about six weeks when her daddy died. and that was about seven weeks ago. so tiffany gave birth to that sweet baby last week. camille was able to go down and witness that incredible experience.
camille wrote about it HERE. you have to read it.
and please watch this video.
i was hysterical watching the video... and for the rest of the day. i sat over rowan's crib that night, watching her sleep, and just cried. because again, i was so heartbroken for this family. but i also felt a little guilty taking for granted the blessings in my life. for not being the person that i know i should and can be. but that's why the Gospel is so great. this life is but a blink of an eye. and we can be with our loved ones again. we are so blessed to have that knowledge.
i am forever changed having heard your story camille, so thanks for sharing it.
and tiffany and her sweet little girls will be in my thoughts and prayers forever.
