*** im sorry that this has turned into a baby blog... but lets be honest, besides working 40+ hours a week, she is all i have on my mind these days***

i have a problem.
shopping for baby girl has gotten really addicting lately.
everyone says "wait til after your showers.."
but as her mother, you have to understand that i want to buy her things too, right?
and some things you just cant wait for.

alot of you are pregnant right now,
and i've told most everyone who is having a girl to share their ideas.
so what kind of friend would i be if i didn't do the same?

here are my favorite purchases lately.

 love this shop, lou & lee. i ended up getting some different colors, but these will be perfect for our little newborn. there are so many more to choose from. cant stop looking at all of them!

one of my favorite purchases thus far. i am in love with this little romper.

all of those cute cute things were made by my sister. she's a genious,

and so good with the sewing machine. (she should start an etsy.... right?)

but i cant wait for baby girl to be so comfy in 

all of those things during those first couple months.

brown paper packages....

its been like christmas around here...
i ordered some stuff for my birthday, and all in the same week,
our carseat, my diaper bag, and our stroller decided to come!
i LOVE walking around that corner and seeing those
brown paper packages laying against my door. makes my day!!!

i found it useful when other people posted about their baby items and where/why they got them.
maybe this might be useful to some people? otherwise, im just excited about them!

my diaper bag.

this was a tough one for me. honestly, i really didn't look at too much baby stuff until i graduated, except for a diaper bag. i was on the prowl. petunia pickle bottom was always at the top of my list.... but when it came down to it, i loved this pattern so much more, and who can argue with half the price??

 i debated about a couple between this site, and where i got it, here.
the quality is outstanding. its so well made. very sturdy. machine-washable. there are a ton of pockets on the inside for all my "diaper bag" necessities. i've just been staring at it since i got it.... so worth the money! 

our stroller 
jord was actually the one who found this one. i remember my sister telling me that buying her single stroller was such a waste of money, because when the second baby came, they needed a double stroller... and the money they spent on a single stroller went to waste. so jord and i wanted to avoid that. and thats when this baby came into our lives. (love the advice from those sisters!)

does it look like its for someone who is 4'9? ya, thats what i thought.
why i love this stroller so much, is because when baby #2 comes along, you can turn it into a double stroller.
there are tons of different attachments you can have, (toddler seats, bassinets, car seats etc)
and the stroller is equipped to hold any 2 of them. i love that.
here are all the different combinations you can make.

we havent actually seen it, because its a gift from jordans parents and its at their house, but we cant wait to open it and especially cant wait for baby girl to be in it! props to jord for researching this for months. (there are many you-tube video's on it... trust me, i've watched all of them).

our car seat

this one is sitting in our living room and it catches my eye once and awhile, and i just think.. "there's going to be a baby in there.... our baby." the craziness of all of this is unreal to me sometimes. anyways, i love this car seat as well. Britax is in the top 3 safety ratings, and baby girl's gotta be safe. I went with the neutral colors (black and silver) because baby girl is gonna have PLENTY of girly things in & outside of the carseat, and it will be awesome for baby #2 as well... boy or girl.

these are the big items that are making this so real to us. we really are having a baby...
and she's coming in 9 weeks. (hopefully)
i'll be 31 weeks on thursday. but turning 30 weeks was crazy....
something about the 3 scares me ;)  anyway, here is baby post from last week.

my birthday isnt until after that..
and jord doesn't usually get me anything for halloween...
but perhaps he shall. cause my wish list is getting large.
