{sister taylor nelson..}

taryn made this necklace for both her and taylor to wear while they are gone. one side of the locket has a map of seattle, and the other side has a map of vancouver. cutest thing ever.
 i bawled when taryn told me about it.

 isn't she the cutest?

 today was hard. like really hard.
you know they are doing the absolute best thing of their lives, but MTC day is so bitter-sweet. mostly bitter... but still sweet. my heart was ripped out watching my two little sissie's saying goodbye to eachother, because they have a connection that nobody will ever understand. and it kills us all seeing them separate from eachother. after the MTC, we were all sitting at my mom and dad's, and taryn leaned over and laid on my shoulder. and all of a sudden, i felt her tears roll down my arm. of course, that got everyone else going. we all just sat around and cried for a while. she's gonna kill it out there in seattle though. we love you taylor, girl. go get 'em!

{twilight heaven AGAIN (part II)}

so on the reason for the trip... PREMIERE DAY.

if you remember last year, none of us slept the night before premiere day because we were sooo excited. we had no idea what to expect. although we were still excited this year, we actually slept really well this time. and mostly because the day of the premiere is a looooooong day of standing and waiting. They happened to do another sort of "lottery" for your spots on the red carpet this year and we ended up being in group 3. so that meant about 600-800 people were going to be in front of us instead of the 200 people that were ahead of us last year. we were a little bummed.
we reported to a designated spot at 12:00 and waited and waited until they finally called our numbers at 2:30  and then ushered us into the red carpet. we were very surprised to find that we were on about the 5th row! there was a barrel in front of us too, which gave us a way better view as well- and taryn even shimmied her way into the 2nd row with the camera. we fully expected the stars to be ants to us... but we were sittin pretty well. and we got some awesome, close pics of the stars! (these are not zoomed in at all.) the only bummer was that we were on the opposite side of the red carpet... the END of the carpet. which meant that most of the stars were going to be tired by the time they get to us because they had already made it around the entire thing, and it also meant that there were NO paparazzi (come on, it was cool to see our faces in people magazine during the last year! even if some of them were hideous).

but anyways..... after more hours and hours standing on our feet, just waiting in our spot, the first to arrive was Nancy O'Dell. and then they just kept on comin! and we didn't even get pics of half of them.

... and please forgive me. i only knew about half of these people. and the half that i knew,
 i only know them by their "character" names.  which is completely unacceptable by some of our fellow twi-hards.
apparently we weren't twi-hard enough.

{hunger games! prim, fox face, little rue}
{a guy from 90210? he was really sweet, but i was kinda  like
"Dude, what are you doing at the Twilight Premiere AGAIN by yourself?}
{Mayim Bialik from Big Bang Theory, Steve Erkle and Luca from ER
{These are all disney people.. the only one i knew was Ashley Tisdale. and she wouldn't say hi to anyone.}
{LA Clippers player, and Terrell Owens.. again, dont know why they came to a twilight premiere?}
{Stevie Nicks.. what the random?}
{Elle Fanning, "Caleb" from Pretty Little Liars, and Juliann Hough}
{"wren" from Pretty Little Liars}
{our BFF Christina Perri... Lindsay and I snuck behind a tree and took a picture with her when
she was going into the theater. and then we got kicked out! horrid picture, but i had to post it. she's so nice!}

and then the cast started showing up. obviously they were all there,
but we didn't get pics of all of them.

{some of the new vampires}
{some of the wolves}
{some of the voltori.. not a fan of dakota's dark hair}
{'Renee' and 'Billy'}
{the friends- 'eric', a very blonde 'angela' and 'mike'}
{The little dude who plays the immortal child ** story below** and stephenie meyer}

and the ever-so beautiful cullen clan.....
nikki reed (rosalie) and ashley greene (alice) were my favs and best-dressed of the night.
they were STUNNING.

.... so pretty much after these peeps came through, we knew that 'the big three' HAD to be next.
and of course, a very large limo pulls up, and we can hear people SCREAMING.
(you really cant see anything)

Taylor.

and then another large limo.

ROB.

and then the last limo pulls up.

Kristen.

we were extremely excited. but we still had to wait for them to go to the bleacher section,
and make their way around the red carpet. taylor was the first to reach our side, but somehow he went down the media side without looking over to the fans once. everyone kept saying "he'll come back" and then all of a sudden, he went into the theater. what the heck? so we got stiffed by him. how rude.

and then people around us started freaking out. and i saw the green suit. ROB!!!!

this video is from my phone. not great quality. but i love watching a video instead of just pics. he literally was RIGHT. THERE. {and just to make things clear.. the only voice that is mine is the one saying "get down". the people in the front row started climbing over the wall and i was not about to let anyone get in my view of rob. ;) but the other voices are hilarious.}

and these pics make me laugh. this was taryn trying to get a pic of rob.
and its just next to impossible. A. because you are trying to not fall over because people are just going crazy. B. because you are trying to get  past the jillion posters (for autographs) that are in front of you, and coming in from the back. and C. everyone else is trying to get pictures as well.

so basically, its just mayhem.
but very exciting mayhem.

that was definitely one of the best parts of the night. obviously we are rob fans- so we were ecstatic to get so close to him. and it made us even bigger fans of him that he went out of his way to make sure that he got to all of the fans! after he passed by us, we noticed that all the bleachers and the opposite side of the red carpet had all cleared.. and that meant that we were getting into the movie!!

but kristen was still doing interviews and rob was still 'around', so we were anxious..
and didn't want to miss her.

but then right after this picture, her security guard grabbed her and said she had to go into the theater because they had already started the movie. so she passed us and waved and said "Im so sorry guys!"

so we quickly turned to the other side and watched her and rob walk into the theater.

our "rob high" quickly turned to frantic searching for the people who were handing out tickets. we had heard they had already started the movie- and we knew we still had to wait in lines and more lines to turn in cell phone and cameras... but one of our security-guard friends pointed us out of the crowd and let us walk ahead of everyone onto the red carpet and he handed us four tickets. what a gem!! thank you charles!

our tickets were in 3 different places. the twinners got orchestra seats, i was by myself up above them,
and lindsay was up above us in the balcony. i was so disappointed to finally get in my seat and realize that we had missed almost a half hour of the movie.... but you just cant beat watching it with the entire cast.
that was awesome.

*spoiler alert*
watching the movie with the die-hards of the die-hards is one of my favorite parts of the whole trip. the reactions are so much better and waaay more dramatic. we had heard a numerous amount of times before we even left on our trip that they had changed the ending to the movie. so i was just waiting to see what they had done..... and there is NO WAY to even begin to describe the frantic F bombs that were being dropped, the yelling, the tears, the arms flailing and people screaming "what the h#ll  is going on!", when they show Carlise's head and during the rest of the entire "vision". i, myself, was curled up in a ball on my seat, pulling out my hair going "WHAT IS HAPPENING?!?"
and boy, was i fooled. props to you, summit. that was a very smart move!

i was a tad bit emotional after the movie ended, for so many reasons... ha ha! but i wanted to find my sisters to talk to them about the movie. we met in the designated spot, and for some reason (cough, cough) we were waiting for lindsay for a long time. but while we were waiting, the little blonde dude came out of the movie and we gave him a high five and told him he did such a good job! he was so proud of himself, and he was taking pictures with everyone. his mom sat and talked to us for about 20 minutes, telling us his life story. but he was so stinkin cute.. trying to give autographs, he could barely write the first letter. i just loved him.

and right next to him, i saw Rob's mom and dad! I have seen them before, cause they are at most of his interviews. i dont know what they were waiting for, but they were sitting there for a long time.
I said "twinners! thats rob's mom and dad. lets go say hi!" and they were too embarassed
BUT I WAS NOT!
i went and shook the dad's hand and said "are you Rob's dad?" and that little old english chap said
"why yes i am." and i said something like "it's so nice to meet you.." but wish i would have asked
if he had after-party tickets :) they were so nice. im sad i didn't have my camera to take a pic of them
AND the little boy- cause we had turned them in... so i had nothing. but i loved seeing them!

we finally met up with lindsay and we were all on such a high.

we drove home the next day and laughed for hours and hours about all the funny and crazy things that had happened the last 6 days. im so happy we did it again. we missed our sister, brynne, this time around- and nothing will compare to last year because we had NO idea what we were doing. and everything was a suprise to us. but im so happy we went through with going again. SUCH a fun trip!

twilight has brought me so many good memories;
midnight trips to borders, to pick up the books. and reading them a million times.
waiting in lines for hours for the midnight release of the movie (until we figured out reserved seating),
and then seeing it umptine times in the theaters after that.
spending weeks for a couple years, writing to ELLEN to win her "twilight trips",
midnight trips to walmart for the release of each DVD,
and then of course, our two trips to TENT CITY, which bring a million memories in itself.
and meeting the cast, and ROB himself, twice.

so many memories! im sad that it has come to an end. i really dont think i'll ever find a series that i love as much as i have loved twilight. (i really like hunger games, but its not as near and dear). most of these memories involve my sisters. i love each of you and will cherish all the cheesiness, the craziness, and the hilarious memories of twilight that we have!

and stephenie meyer and summit entertainment- you're welcome.
im positive that half of your earnings have come from us Nelson sisters.
you would be wise to continue the series. ;) thank you.

{twilight heaven AGAIN (part 1)}

{warning: twilight-hating eyes and comments are not allowed on this post. gracias}
i am writing this, trying not to laugh AND/OR cry. A. because i seriously cant believe we, my sisters and i,  were crazy enough to pull this off again. and B. me writing this is acknowledging the END of twilight as we know it. and im too sad to even begin to think about that. so lets get to it.and just embrace the craziness- you're better off. and thanks for letting me steal all your pics, tare!

after last year, we were determined to go back for the twilight grand finale. we had too much fun to not go again. they did things a tad bit different this year by doing a lottery to camp in tent city, and also a lottery for your spot on the red carpet... and we decided that no matter what, we were going. we couldn't bare the thought of missing out. even if we got a terrible spot on the red carpet- it was still worth it. (and come on, it was the last one!) we left wednesday evening and had to be at check-in at noon on thursday. within 5 minutes of arriving in tent city... we saw some of our favorite, and not so favorite people from last year! we were cracking up. we had nicknames for maaaaaany of them last year and we would see them throughout the whole week and just die laughing.
{wristbands... our golden tickets.}

 Tent City went above and beyond this time around. There were 2,000 people that camped this year, so you can imagine the variety. we are talking full-on movie scenes. wish the pictures would do them justice...
{we, of course, had to make our robsessed  known as well.}
they put on each of the twilight movies every night. this was one of my favorite things about tent city! you can't beat watching these movies with 2,000 screaming die-hard fans. too hilarious.

friday morning we decided to duck-out for a couple hours and go shopping in santa monica,
where we found one of the coolest parking garage's ever. they had signs for every row, and every floor, telling you how many spots were left. and then on every individual stall, there was a red and green light.
genius, i tell ya. (can we bring that to utah?)

friday night during one of the movies, people just started running. and we knew what that meant- a STAR!
it was Tinsel Korey. (Emily, the wolf girl)

stephenie meyer came and suprised us on saturday morning. since they let so many people in this year, we waited for long periods of times, in lots of lines, on many different occasions. but we found ourselves trying to cram in the last few pages of the book (i hadn't read it in awhile), and also getting handed lots of free stuff.  only a select few were allowed to go and take pictures and get autographs with stephanie, and we were not among the lucky... so we just snapped a few pics anyway. (thanks for nothin!)
{we made rob shirts again, of course}
but saturday afternoon, was the twilight concert. it was one of our fav things from last year- where some of the bands from the soundtrack come and play their songs. and this year was even better than last for a few reasons...
A. Jackson Rathbone (Jasper) was the MC- and he was awesome.
B. Ashley Greene (Alice) made a surprise visit to help MC. and we looooove her.
C. Nikki Reed (Rosalie) and her hubby Paul McDonald (American Idol guy) came and sang their song on the soundtrack, and it's one of my favs. (plus, Nikki was really emotional talking about it being "the end" and it made us love her. cause we didn't love her as much last year)
D. Christina Perri came this year! we were bummed when she didn't come last time,
and she is uh-mazing LIVE! and she's really funny.. and really sweet.

{Anye Marina.. "Satelite Heart" one of my fav songs from New Moon}
{A Boy & His Kite "Cover your Tracks"... Nikki Reed & Paul "All I've Ever Needed"}

{Christina Perri "Jar of Hearts" and "A Thousand Years"}

such a fun concert! they all stayed after and did autographs. Nikki kept saying, through her tears, "i dont want to leave you guys!" its a sad thing, acknowledging the end of twilight.
saturday night was full of more movies on the big screen.. and freezing our bums off.

sunday morning, we were told that "special guests" would be coming to hand out breakfast.
pretty much the entire cast showed up. (minus the big three). Most of them are new to this movie.. so they would come through and we had no idea who they were, but we took pictures with them anyways. i'm about 90% sure than this was most of their first time in a movie, so they were still really excited and really nice and took pictures, gave autographs, and talked with almost every single person. they were seriously such genuinely nice people!

one minute you are poking fun at the crazies who are crying at the sight of these stars, and then the next minute.. you ARE the crazies, posing for pics with them. ha ha!
{"Zafrina". from the Amazon Coven. i look like im laying on her shoulder.. ha ha!}
{"Senna" from the Amazon Coven}
{"Benjamin" from the Eqgyptian Coven. Nicest guy ever- and loved him in the movie}
{"Tia" from the Eqyptian Coven}
{"Maggie" from the Irish Coven}
{"Vladimir" Italian coven? he was really sweet}

 {"Liam" from the Irish Coven, and "Randall" who's a nomad}
{"Peter" and "Mary" -nomad}

Peter Facinelli- who plays Carlise. This guy is really handsome in real life. not too friendly, but really handsome. so they cancel eachother out, right?
His security guard kept shouting "NO posed pictures, only autographs.." and since we dont really care about autographs, i did the next best thing, take a pic while he was holding my hand! ;)
 {Charlie, who plays "Dimitri" - funny guy.}
{Julia, who plays "Leah" the wolf girl. such a sweet & down-to-earth person}
{Boo Boo Stewart, "Seth"- loved him!}

that was a fun few hours for us- way more people showed up this time than did last year.
we did things a little smarter this time by getting a hotel that was 20 feet from tent city vs. 20 miles away (+ LA traffic- which is insane!) so we were able to just walk right over to our hotel and shower when we wanted. we came back sunday night to see that they had finished setting up for the premiere!

and then we headed back to the hotel for some serious shut-eye.... cause the next day was premiere day.
and it was KILLER, again.

that's comin up next.
{i know the anticipation must be killin you ;)}
