{ easter 2014 ... }

our easter was so much fun this year! i loved gathering for TWO little girlies basket's. i was just so overwhelmed with love for my girls... it's probably mostly around the holidays, but i just can't believe how blessed i am to be a mom, but also their mom. i love it. well this year we did egg hunts, easter party's, dying eggs, dressed up, and went to church. all the usual easter stuff. but most of all, we reflected on the life, and the Atonement, of Our Savior Jesus Christ. what a special reminder of it's importance it is this time of year.

greer had a funny afternoon after we went on an easter egg hunt.
she was talking nonnnnnnn stoppppp. i was almost crying i was laughing so hard.
i could just imagine her trying to put up an argument of why she should've gotten some candy too.....

{ oh how i love that precious little face }

rowan was absolutely thrilled that the easter bunny would come visit her and give her
stuff just for the heck of it. the innocence of children....

lovin on my little easter chicks.

we hope you all had a wonderful easter!

{easter 2012}

Our Easter was so chaotic this year. It really was. I wish I would have enjoyed it more. But with the demand of both of our callings, and then going here and there and everywhere, it was just a bit crazy. Oh well! We still enjoyed what we could. Rowan, of course, did the most! I could just read it on her face when she woke up and saw what that bunny had left her.... I just get all of this stuff, for nothin? ha ha. I love holidays with this little girl!

and then later, we stopped at my mom and dad's. we quickly snapped a few family pics before putting rowan down.... sadly she missed the egg hunt with her cousins. but the party must go on.

{eastering..}

rowan was only 3 weeks old last easter, so we pretty much missed out last year all-together. this year was fun being able to be fully invested in every bit of easter that we love; the egg dying, the baskets, easter jammies, filling up rowans basket, dressing up in sunday best, teaching our primary kids (and reminding ourselves) of why we have easter, and that's because of our Savior. getting hit in the face twice, and having 3 four year-olds and rowan crying all at the same time almost ruined me for good, but luckily primary only lasts 2 hours. heaven help me.

{easter morning}
even if the eggs were filled with yogurt bites and goldfish.. she still thought they were the best things ever. she loved and loved on that bunny that she found in her basket too. such a lovie girl these days! and check out the bedhead. ;)

{easter sunday}

after an insane primary day, we headed down south to my aunt springs house
to enjoy a little easter celebration {and yummy food!}
i also love seeing all the colorful sunday outfits of all my little cousins-
we left early, and apparently missed all of the picture opp's... twinners got 'em.

and after you see the following pictures, you'd think we had given rowan
several bottles of caffeine. holy hannah, this girl is a cheese ball! it kills me.

hoping your easter was as blessed as ours!

catchin up

this week has been a very long anticipated/stressed-filled week for jord.
my little extracaricular husband is on the e-club committee.
"e" stands for entrepreneur. and jord is at the head of the marketing team.
and this week is e-week. a week full of opportunities to gain insight on
the business world and to also get involved. {they prepare for this ALL YEAR}
im absolutely amazed at him and how hard he has worked for this.

Yesterday, for one of the events of e-week, they hired a company to come and do
a campus railjam tour. coming from a non-snowboarder or non-skier, it seriously was awesome!
they just set up their three story tower in the middle of campus, and had 40 riders/students come and do sweet tricks and have an awesome competition. The weather was terrible, but they had a great turnout anyway. I was sooo happy for Jord. I know how hard he has worked for this week, and i'm incredibly proud of him for it. {and so excited its over!}
Here are some highlights:

here is the little entrepreneur at work

they interviewed jord about the event. you can read it here
so proud of you babe. so proud.

our easter
general conference was so uplifting.
and we loved hopping from house to house :)
{i hope we figure it out one day}

here are the easter egg hunts

these first two pictures make me laugh so hard.
my sweet little boys, bless their hearts, have gotten the "cheese" down to a T,
but they forget that with saying cheese, you must also LOOK at the camera and SMILE.
so it is important to note while looking at the pics that they are saying cheese.
oh gosh, i love them.

and these two little one year olds had the time of their lives looking for candy.
i dont know where in the world they got a sweet tooth from. :)

we just got a foot of snow in the last couple days... so, no "happy spring" wishing i guess.
i just loooove logan!!! {note the sarcasm please}
