{two..}

I am sitting here in complete shock this day had come so fast! Wasn't it just yesterday that we were at the Logan hospital and this sweet little april fool's baby came into our lives? Rowan is truly the light of our lives and we love dedicating a day all to her.

Truly, I wasn't going to go all out like I did last year. It was hardly even going to be a "party".

Buuuuuut then I found myself at zurchers getting paper plates... and it just went downhill from there.

oh well, happy second birthday to our little miss!

then we did the presents and {cup} cake thing,

and rowan loved every bit of the attention.

she was a little bit more shy having everyone sing to her....

but if she got to open presents for it, then i think it was worth the trade. 

SERIOUSLY love this girl more than words can say!

{easter 2012}

Our Easter was so chaotic this year. It really was. I wish I would have enjoyed it more. But with the demand of both of our callings, and then going here and there and everywhere, it was just a bit crazy. Oh well! We still enjoyed what we could. Rowan, of course, did the most! I could just read it on her face when she woke up and saw what that bunny had left her.... I just get all of this stuff, for nothin? ha ha. I love holidays with this little girl!

and then later, we stopped at my mom and dad's. we quickly snapped a few family pics before putting rowan down.... sadly she missed the egg hunt with her cousins. but the party must go on.

{st. george..}

This past weekend, we took our annual family baseball trip down to st. george for my dad's tournament. There is always good times, good food, good people..... and this year we added lots of rain. boo. It was pretty much freezing the entire time we were down there! lame sauce. but hey, we still made the most of it. We are excited to start yet another season of twolf baseball!

{almost two..}

I looked at my phone this morning and saw that it said March 1st.

 And I heavy-sighed thinking that my little bug is gonna be two in one month from today. 

Can you believe it? I sure can't.

It's a bitter-sweet thing watching your babies grow up right before your eyes.

But we are happy about the glimpse of sunshine today. Wahoo!

{a little lovin party..}

Since we have been caged animals this very harsh winter (I know you can all relate), I needed a little project to do and rowan needed to be entertained. She is also learning to say her cousins names, so she calls for them alllllll the time. So I thought it would be fun to get all the little cousins together and have a valentines party. We got together last saturday at my sister Lindsay's house and had so much fun with these 7 little kidlets! It was also fun for Rowan to not be out-numbered by all her boy cousins; my cousin McCall came with her cute little Libby (and baby Logan of course!).

heart-shaped sandwiches were a must!

they all did a little craft, which was fun.

you could see each of their cute little personalities through their creativity.

and then we exchanged valentines. the funnest part, right?
