{ midway }

soooo. we've been going through some changes in our family! jord decided that he's changing jobs this week. it's something we've talked about for a little while, and when this opportunity came up, it came up fast, but we had to take it. i was a little bit emotional about the whole thing because i absolutely loved Attask. they did a lot of fun things, and they treated jord really well. we also met a ton of new friends that we get together often with, and so this job change will be really sad for us to leave that all behind. ( i think we'll still keep the friends though ;) but now jord is working for a company called marketware. i know that this is the best thing for our family, and jord is very excited about all the new opportunities it will bring...... so i just trust my man and say "okay!" well, from his last day at attask, until he started at marketware, there were a few days inbetween. so we decided to take our girls and enjoy some r&r up in midway. it was nice and relaxing and i'm glad we went!
plus, this time of year in utah?...... the views are absolutely killer.

on to new adventures!

{the land of the red rock..}

last weekend we went down with the staples to enjoy a weekend in st. george! it was incredibly nice and relaxing. while planning activities to do when we were there, we thought to head up Zions National Park. i've lived in utah my whole life and have never been there... how sad. so we definitely had to go. and even though it was a little hot, and the hike was a little bit difficult caring a baby and worrying about the three-year-old, the views were UNBELIEVABLE. i was just in awe the whole time. it was just a different kind of 'beauty'. i have new goals to visit more places that we live close to! anyways, while we were down there, rowan & i went and saw "the little mermaid" over at tuachan. so worth every penny, and rowan was on cloud 9! (besides the ursula parts) but it was fabulous nonetheless. i love dates with my girl. 

it was such a fun weekend, thanks again grandpa joe and gramma sug.

{st. george..}

This past weekend, we took our annual family baseball trip down to st. george for my dad's tournament. There is always good times, good food, good people..... and this year we added lots of rain. boo. It was pretty much freezing the entire time we were down there! lame sauce. but hey, we still made the most of it. We are excited to start yet another season of twolf baseball!

jords family was gracious enough to take rowan for a couple days while we got a.w.a.y! (thank you again).
 i mean, you know we love that girl, but jord and i  haven't been away together in a veeeeery long time,
and i loved every second of it. we started in heber and ended in park city. 

we four-wheeled, we ate, we watched movies, we ate more... and just relaxed.

just gotta say it, i love this guy more than i ever could have imagined. there are a few thousand reasons why i love him.
and getting away just tripled that list. 

husband, this thing we have going on... i think its pretty great. and if the next million years 

are as good as the last four, well i say bring it on. 

happy four years babe.
