our marriage turned four today. aren't we getting old? ;)

jords family was gracious enough to take rowan for a couple days while we got a.w.a.y! (thank you again).
 i mean, you know we love that girl, but jord and i  haven't been away together in a veeeeery long time,
and i loved every second of it. we started in heber and ended in park city. 

we four-wheeled, we ate, we watched movies, we ate more... and just relaxed.

just gotta say it, i love this guy more than i ever could have imagined. there are a few thousand reasons why i love him.
and getting away just tripled that list. 

husband, this thing we have going on... i think its pretty great. and if the next million years 

are as good as the last four, well i say bring it on. 

happy four years babe.

3 years

our marriage turned 3 today..

we went to a matinee this afternoon before dinner...

we went and saw something borrowed (loved it!)

it was, of course, a chick flick where they fall in love at the end.

and they live happily ever after.

but on the way home i was thinking about how i landed the man of my dreams,

and how happy he makes me.

and then i heard my little girl sneeze in the back, and then she coo'ed a little.

and i just had to smile... thinking,

how does life get any better than this?

i love you more everyday jord.

our marriage is turning two..

our marriage is turning two on sunday.
i can't even believe it.
two years? thats crazy.

but since we will be aboard a ship to mexico on sunday,

i thought i would post about it today, because our marriage deserves this post. and so does jord.

and i dont care if anyone reads it, except for him.

you make me laugh harder then anyone i've ever known.
i love that we have developed a language, and if anyone heard it, they would think we were crazy.
i love that we can never stay mad at eachother for very long.
i love that you call me on your lunch-break everyday. even though you know i cant answer.
i love that you snore really loud, and all night. {i dont love it when im awake, listening to it. but i love it right now, cause its so you.}
i love when you talk about our kids {to be}.
i love the face you make when you find out i've spent money. its priceless.
i love when people ask you if you played basketball, and you didn't, but you say yes anyways cause you're so sick of people asking. ha ha
i love coming home to you.
i love your smile. i melt.
i love watching movies with you.
i love that i'm so happy when im with you.
i love when you kiss me on the forehead.


i love that im sitting at work right now crying, thinking about how much i love you, and how much you mean to me.
how does life get any better than this?

{one year.....}

last saturday, may 16th, we celebrated our first anniversary!

i CANNOT believe we've been married for a whole year... it absolutely FLEW.
we are definitely newlyweds, no longer.

i woke up to a beautiful bouquet of flowers, the sweetest card, and breakfast. we then headed down to salt lake and re-lived our big day, starting with listening to all of our "wedding songs". besides being sealed in the salt lake temple, i've never been through it, so we did a session; that temple is beautiful! i was quite overcome with emotion, knowing that jord and i had started our life together just one year ago in that temple, and that our marriage knew no end. I am eternally grateful for the gospel in my life, and for being sealed to an incredible companion.

On our way to the temple, we happened to walk where we took our engagement pictures... so we "re-took" a few.... showing how grown up we are, one year later. (actually 1.3 years later).

and after we did our session, we walked around the temple, re-living all of our moments.

PROPS to jord because he made it feel like it was our wedding day ALL over again. It was just me and him, we were back at the place where it all began, it was a beautiful day outside,

(just like our wedding day) and i felt incredibly blessed.....

after the temple, we had the yummiest dinner at PF Changs (where we went the night jord porposed) and then we went and watched our wedding video a billion times, cried every time (well, i guess i was the one crying), and spent the night in salt lake.

and of course, we had to eat our wedding cake... {thanks for adding the flowers mom!}

I also gave jord a book that i had been working on for months (i was quite secretive) all about the things we did our first year; the trips, the holidays, the funny things i learned about him, our quirks (etc.) i was happy the way it turned out....

jord was suprised, and loved it!

we had an incredible anniversary. jord thanks for such an amazing day, year & well...marriage. but more importantly, for being such an amazing husband and my best friend.
