{a little lovin party..}

Since we have been caged animals this very harsh winter (I know you can all relate), I needed a little project to do and rowan needed to be entertained. She is also learning to say her cousins names, so she calls for them alllllll the time. So I thought it would be fun to get all the little cousins together and have a valentines party. We got together last saturday at my sister Lindsay's house and had so much fun with these 7 little kidlets! It was also fun for Rowan to not be out-numbered by all her boy cousins; my cousin McCall came with her cute little Libby (and baby Logan of course!).

heart-shaped sandwiches were a must!

they all did a little craft, which was fun.

you could see each of their cute little personalities through their creativity.

and then we exchanged valentines. the funnest part, right?

{on the day of love...}

we got in late last night from our trip, and we are all a little extra tired.

lots of pics from the wedding, the beach, and d-land comin your way....

but i couldn't let the day of love pass without giving a shout-out to the two greatest loves in my life.

thank you both, for being mine. i'm the luckiest girl around to have you two.

my valentine.....

i honestly am so filled with love today.

love for alot of things, and love for alot of people.

but mostly, love for my sweet little girl... and my sweet husband.

i know i've mentioned it before, but im really clingy these days.

and obviously, over-the-top emotional. 

on our date night on wednesday, i sat across the table from jord at olive garden

and just started crying. (dang hormones.)

we talked about our baby girl, and how excited we are for it to be the three of us,

but then we started talking about how different it will be....

and also of how much fun it has been for the last 3 years of it just being the 2 of us,

everything we have been able to do, the friendship & kind of marriage we've built.

thats when i started crying. 

i knew it was coming. big changes happen to everyone at some point. 

but i cant help but think of how sad i am to say goodbye to "just the two of us".

dont get me wrong: im so happy for this baby girl thats coming into our lives....

i love her already more than i can say,

but i cant help but be sad about closing the chapter on the life we have right now.

cause i know that things will never be the same.

jord, you are my best friend in the whole world.

there are a million things to say about how much i love you and why,

and what i love about you. 

but i'll save it for later......

 i honestly cant imagine loving you any more than i do right now.

although, i know i will.

viva las vegas

i have a lot to update...
but i left my camera at my parents.
just wait a little bit longa.

but i DID want to share a little bit of our weekend gettaway.
this semester already been really rough on the both of us,
and the bitterness of the logan weather has taken its toll.
so on a whim, we decided to GET A WAY.
we went to vegas.

although i still believe that vegas is hell on earth,
{i recall saying "jord, shut your eyes" about eighty-seven times}
we had so. much. fun.
just the two of us.
i didn't even take any pictures.

highlights:
we stayed at the new planet hollywood westgate towers.
we ate out alot. at really great places.
we shopped. alot. {we might have stopped at anthropologie twice....... plus two}
we slept in everyday.
we went and saw LION KING. {absolutely amazing!}
and we were just with eachother. all day.

it was the perfect valentines day/weekend.
and like this time, i fell in love with him all over again.
