{last friday night..}

alright, it wasn't friday night.. it was saturday night. but katie perry's song is stuck in my head.
we were supposed to be in disneyland with the family, but that didn't work out. so we decided to head up to the cabin for a few days since jord already had work off. we enjoyed a couple of days by ourselves and it was quiet, and peaceful. and we enjoyed the stunning, and i seriously mean stunning, colors of provo canyon and up at heber. fall is gorgeous. then we had the hopkins and babb's join us for a couple of days as well. with 3 babies in a small space, it was chaotic- but you cant replace the good laughs, and good food, good shoppin' in park city, and most importantly, good peeps! unfortunately, i only had my camera for a couple of pics....

what is it about a baby that makes you want to take a chunk right out of them? man, i could EAT HER ALIVE.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

and then i headed to orem for the annual ya-ya sisterhood party.
what is a ya-ya sisterhood party?
-a women only party every october, held at thanksgiving point.
-you must dress up.
- you must wear awesome hats! (even if it means wearing an umbrella with pipe cleaners.. what the?)
- you must go with the funnest women you know (awe ya mom & sista's!)
- you must write a list of all your woes, throw them in the fire, repeat the chant and "yell ya-ya"
- you must eat until your hearts content

and that's just the beginning of the party.

i look forward to it every year. and for good reason.
yell ya-ya!

a sisterhood....

we had such a fun break last weekend,
even though utah state only gave us one day.
it was a needed day off, indeed.

we went up to jords parents cabin in heber with our friends,
and did NOTHING. (except lots of shopping in park city.. awe ya!)
and it was awesome.
in fact, it was so awesome, that we forgot to take pictures.
preston did grab our camera and took a few of the hammocks they set up. but thats it.
thanks so much for a fun weekend you guys.

(me and jord... seriously relaxin')

and then on saturday, we raced down to orem so i could make it
for our annual ya-ya sisterhood party at thanksgiving point.
i wouldn't have missed it for the world.

{my momma and sista's}

honestly.... i dont know what it was about this weekend,
but i couldn't have loved being with my sisters any more.
we all got dressed up, made fun headbands/hats.
and laughed the entire night away.

you guys are my best friends. and i cant even begin to tell you how much i love you.
