{the polar express}

jords sister steph was in town for a few weeks from Indiana with her two little girlies a couple of weeks ago, so we were sure to get in a bunch of fun activites while they were here. Rowan is surrounded by a bunch 'o boys on my side, so she loves to see her two girl cousins (soon to be three!). Its nothin but princess dress-ups, babies, and coloring when they are together! grandma sug and grandpa joe were so gracious in taking us to the polar express! i have always wanted to go, but couldn't muster up the courage to fork over that kind of $$. good thing rowan has awesome grandparents who wanted to take all of us. it was such a darling exprience.... from the old-school decorated train, to the conductor coming around to punch our train tickets, to the cute elves who served hot chocolate and cookies, singing Christmas jingles, to Santa and Mrs. Clause hopping on for a visit, and rowan getting her first gift of Christmas; the bell. it really was so fun! we could have done without the couple tantrums, but we expected nothing less during what was supposed to be naptime. thanks again grandma and grandpa- we loved it!
