twilight..

awe.. twilight. the obsession continues... if you know me at all, you knew this post was coming!
this is to all the peeps who share the same love for twilight as i do.
since this movie consumes my every thought, i had to post about it. (and also because im bored at work, just finished two massive presentations in my classes today, so im awarding myself free time! with a bag of cadbury christmas balls at my side)

obviously, i loooved the movie. my four ticket stubs will tell you so. you better believe that me and my friends drove down to ogden to go see it at midnight (sold out in logan) and wore t-shirts. and NO im not a twilight "jump on the band wagon" girl. i've loved it from the beginning, and im NOT ashamed to admit it.

I must confess that when the news came out that they were making twilight a movie, i was stumped. books that get made into movies always get distorted or "botched" as i like to call it. And although this one did as well... i still loved it.
(yes, i did make a shirt that says Edward Cullen owns my soul...) ------------------------->

edward....
i was SO disappointed when stephanie meyer put rob pattison's picture up and said he was cast as edward. SERIOUS? the one that stephanie describes as this Greek God in twilight and that no one can even comprehend his beauty? this guy is scrawny, cant comb his hair and looks like he's intoxicated. uh... no thanks. who's doing the casting?
well lets just say peeps, that edward exceeded my expectations. no i dont think he's the sexiest man on earth (quoted by people magazine) but he is the new wall paper on my phone. da- dum- ch

bella...
hmmm. i think she looks the part in every way. i think they picked a really good bella. she could use some acting lessons, however, and a little more emotion (the hospital bed scene). but did pretty good. i like her- good chemistry with ed. and i cant wait to see more of her and rob in the next movies.

the cullens..
alice. PERFECT. she could of used some more lines though!?!
emmett. LOVED him.
rosalie. the most beautiful woman in the world? uh.. i dunno. but she's pretty good.
jasper. not so much
esme. i was disappointed with her in the beginning because i didn't like her in grey's anatomy, but she does okay in the movie. how can you not like someone who has three lines?
carlisle. a little too much like Ken the barbie, but okay, i'll believe it.

charlie.. LOVED him. loved the jokes, loved that he didn't want bella to go and almost cried, loved that he was protective of bella. just LOVED him.

jacob.. oh my gosh did they hit this one RIGHT on the nail, or what!?! cannot wait for new moon..

jessica, mike, eric, angela (etc.) they were AWESOME. i thought they all were perfect, and so funny, they had me laughing to the whole time.

james, laurent, and victoria. awesome!

anyway... those are my occuring thoughts about the #1 movie in America right now. i still loved the book 10x more, because you cant have that much character development in a movie, but i obviously loved it enough to pay $8-9 FOUR times to see it! i cant wait for new moon to come out. can they make the next one three hours, please?

hats off to summit entertainment, you pulled it off!

ps. my brother-in-law and husband are starting a club called "1000 husbands against twilight/edward". they probably will start interventions soon if your husbands feel the same. club fee is $15 and includes a t-shirt.

sorry for the non-posting. finals are next week, need i say more?
