i had to add this...
this is just another reason why i love and miss my family so much. first of all, i think i have the funniest siblings EVER. particularly my sisters. it probably comes from my mom and how her siblings are.. but i find it hard to be myself when i am around new people cause when i try to be funny and make jokes that nobody gets, in the back of my mind, i think...
my sisters would be laughing hysterically right now!!!
so anyway, on to my story... and no one will probably get as big of a kick out of this as me
next weekend, jordans very generous parents are taking us to new york city for a fun little vaca. my sweet older brother, brooks, called me on tuesday to see how things were for us cause we hadn't talked in a while. being the HUGE sports fan he is, i thought he would like to hear that we were gonna be in nyc enjoying a yankees game next weekend. (we, the nelsons, are major baseball fans) and that we were going to a broadway play.. yata yata.
"thats so awesome paige, im so jealous!
well, it was good to talk to you, tell your hubby hi,
love you"
well.. i love my brother. he's the sweetest, and it was so thoughtful of him to call.
the next night..
i forgot to take my phone wherever i was, so i retrieved this message from my mother.
"paigie-girl, brooks told us that you and jordan are moving to new york,
whats up with that? call me back, love you."
WHAT? moving to new york? well, brooks must have misunderstood me..
so i called her back and told her that she was misinformed.
we are only going to new york for a vacation.
the next morning..
my sweet little sister taryn leaves a message on my facebook wall..
"paigie, i heard you're moving to new york,
does that mean you're extending? that's so fun,
love you."
okay, i thought i cleared this up by now. clearly, the message wasn't passed along.
last night...
my older sister brynne sends me a text..
"paige, mom said you're moving to new york,
can we come stay with you.. we're gonna be there next weekend."
BY THIS POINT
i was laughing soooooo hard. i love my family so much, its unreal!
so if you haven't got it by now, WE AREN'T MOVING TO NEW YORK!
but we'll be happy to bring back a souvenier!
